I ordered this as a gift for my mother. She loves it! She keeps it sitting in her stove and many people have commented how nice it looks. She is an avid tea drinker and uses it by herself or when company is around. I would recommend this for anyone in the market.
My husband wanted a tea kettle for his woodstove to actually heat water and make tea and cocoa for him and our grandkids. I now know all cast iron tea kettles are actual working teapots. So make sure you check this out...this is a really nice heavy, cut and functional teapot. The handle can be hot, but he keeps a towel handy to save the fingers.
I just love it. Not too many tea pots are 52oz so I was a little worried it would be too big but it's just perfect. You get about 4 large cups of tea. The pot itself looks even better in person. It's just beautiful. I'm very happy with my purchase.
