This tea cup is very well designed and nicely decorated. This is the second one I have purchased. The handle looks a bit "different" but is very comfortable to hold. I use a mesh strainer instead of the ceramic insert provided. I would have given it a higher score but both cups have a number of little bumps and irregularities in the clay or glaze, so there is room for improvement.
I absolutely love this Loose Leaf Tea Maker and Cup!!! I use it every day. Just 1 TBSP of tea with hot water and steep. What I do, though is pour the steeped tea into another cup and drink it that way. Then just add more hot water...then I can keep having tea all day. Easy Peasy! I love the painted design!
I am so pleasantly surprised and happy by the quality, color, pattern and versatility of this product. It has a beautiful yellow color that is not truly reflected in the flash photos. The dragon designs, of with there are three different designs and colors, are detailed and flawless. The designs on the cup have texture and are not simply printed on the finish of the cup. The set includes cup, saucer, lid, insert and stainless steel tea leaf strainer. I can't imagine anyone having any complaints about this set. It is wonderful!!!
System is beautiful. My only problem is that I'd forgotten how hot boiling water is. Once I got that straightened out, everything was fine. I am intending to buy another one today.
beautiful, quality teacup, and wonderful for loose leaf teas or herbs that have to steep for a long while (lemon balm, thyme, raspberry leaf, etc.) i would love to have more of these in different patterns.
