I use this cast iron teapot on an induction stove top. Heats up fast and consistently around the bottom and sides. Capacity is nice for preparing more an one cup. Design is clean and simple.
This pot is very attractive holds a few big mugs of tea and keeps it very hot. It is heavy so be aware that you need a minimum amount of strength to lift and pour. I had a smaller version of this pot which I left when I moved and decided I wanted another, I like this one even better.
This is a very nice teapot, especially since it has a ceramic coating on the inside. The only problem is this is NOT a 27ounce pot, it is 20 ounces. Still I do like it.
The top rim where cover meets trapot rusted quickly. 1 mo with every day use. Still completly finctional and everything else about this tea pot is AMAZING
