I am very impressed with the beauty of this tea kettle, however, it is also exceptionally functional. The internal filter is tight enough that even fine Japanese green teas do not escape.
The tea is really great to watch steep and change the whole color of the water as the 2-5min go by. I have brought water to a boil in it with no issues.
The only qualm I have of this product is how hot the teapot lid can get, since it's made of metal. A different material for the knob would have been nice, but otherwise I love this teapot!
