Only problem I've encountered is with the lid, getting stuck or jammed when I attempt to loosen it. That concerns me...
The strainers are made of a thin-walled stainless steel (not steel mesh) that features incredibly-small micro perforations to let water through, yet, still keep the tea within. This is truly a marvel of metal manufacturing. A useful linked chain with small hook is attached to the top of each strainer, to allow for easy steeping in and out of a mug, as well as eventual retrieval.
My only complaint is that this is still a little small for me. I like to use 2-3 teaspoons of loose leaf and when it swells the leaves pack the steeper pretty tight/full. That's probably just on me, should've bought a bigger one.
I don't like debris in my tea and the fine mesh prevents this from happening, which is awesome.
This works perfectly! It is spacious enough for 4-5 cups or just one. Okay so the only problem is just cleaning it. I had to finger the inside of it real hard to get all the herbs out and I was sitting in front of the toilet fingering this thing(
I drink loose leaf tea daily and I absolutely LOVE this tea infuser! I bought it to replace an old Teavana one that I had misplaced and I like this one much better!
I use this for adding aromatic ingredients to dishes cooked in my Instant Pot. This hangs from the inside of the lid, just above the bottom of the pot when closed, and keeps you from fishing things like anise, cardamom, and bay leaves out of your soup stock.
I love these strainers. They are a great size for all of my cups and to-go containers as well.
Perfect sized infuser for use in a cup or pot, holds plenty of loose leaf tea leaves to accommodate any size vessel from a small cup to a big pot
