The tea ball works quite well. Very helpful. From what I can tell after a few uses, when using loose tea leaves, loose flowers, and pieces of herbs virtually nothing made it out of the tea ball.
This is utterly excellent, well made, and thoughtfully put together. This is far better than the tea balls I bought in the past that would just come apart spreading the loose tea around in the tea. This one holds together very well, is finely made and easily strains the tea leaves.
These are perfect for making my hibiscus tea in larger quantities. The materials and the craftsmanship are excellent. I've been using these for a few weeks and I'm very happy with them.
I bought this to use with my homemade herbal tea and it worked really well. I use loquat leaves frm my tree, so I control how fine they are cut, but I think this would work with store bought loose leaf tea as well.
